By reversing the role of “ant” and “observer”, this object that places the audience under scrutiny, allowing them to see their own reflection in the panes of glass that normally allow observation of subordinate life forms.

Parodying the children's toy Ant Farm and the concept of "playing god", this subverts the position scientists take as “neutral and objective observers” while observing studies and conducting research.
